If you do not agree with any provision herein, you must discontinue use of our services immediately. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Alaska Pest Control, a referral service operating within the State of Alaska.

Service Description

Alaska Pest Control operates as a free referral service dedicated to connecting homeowners and property managers with independent, licensed pest control professionals throughout Alaska. We do not directly employ pest control technicians, nor do we own or operate pest control equipment. Our sole function is to facilitate introductions between consumers seeking pest management solutions and qualified, independently operating contractors within our network.

When you submit a service request through our platform, we share your contact information and project details with one or more independent contractors in your geographic area. These contractors operate as separate business entities and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Alaska Pest Control. We do not control, supervise, or direct the methods, schedules, or pricing employed by referred professionals. All contractual arrangements for actual pest control services are formed directly between you and the independent contractor you select.

No Guarantee or Warranty

Alaska Pest Control makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the quality, timeliness, effectiveness, or outcomes of any pest control services performed by contractors in our referral network. We do not guarantee that any contractor will accept your project, meet your expectations, or resolve your pest infestation. Similarly, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or current status of any contractor's licensing, insurance coverage, or professional credentials as represented to us.

Our referral service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We expressly disclaim all implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your use of our referral service is at your sole risk.

User Responsibilities

By using our service, you acknowledge and accept significant personal responsibility in vetting and selecting any contractor. You are solely responsible for verifying that any referred professional holds valid, current licenses required by the State of Alaska and any applicable local jurisdictions for pest control operations. You must independently confirm adequate liability insurance, workers' compensation coverage, and bonding status before engaging any contractor's services.

You agree to conduct your own due diligence regarding contractor qualifications, experience, references, and reputation. This includes obtaining written estimates, reviewing service agreements, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Alaska Pest Control bears no responsibility for your failure to perform these verification steps or for any consequences arising from such omission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Alaska law, Alaska Pest Control and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our referral service or any services performed by referred contractors. This includes damages for property damage, personal injury, economic loss, emotional distress, or any other harm, regardless of whether we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

You expressly agree that Alaska Pest Control is not liable for the acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct, or fraud of any independent contractor referred through our platform. All disputes, claims, or causes of action arising from contractor performance must be directed exclusively to the responsible contractor and not to Alaska Pest Control. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim related to our services shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you paid to us, whichever is greater.

Intellectual Property

All content contained on the Alaska Pest Control website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software, and the overall design and layout, is the exclusive property of Alaska Pest Control or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, display, or creation of derivative works from any site content is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent. You may access and view content solely for personal, non-commercial use related to obtaining pest control referrals.

Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising from your use of Alaska Pest Control services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Anchorage, Alaska for resolution of any legal proceedings arising from these Terms or your use of our services.

Changes to Terms

Alaska Pest Control reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time without prior individual notice. Material changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services following any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
